Nocturne in C Minor
Review:     3 to 5-octaves of handbells and eight optional hand chimes (C6-C7) team up to present this lovely, adagio "night song." C minor tonality is set up with broken-chord accompaniment in the bass bells before a lovely, contemplative, single-line melody appears above rung by the chimes. This texture fills out with bells taking over the melody. After this the melody is played in octaves with the chimes on the top note and the bells on the bottom note of each octave. Other lovely passages use the LV techniques.
