Review:
Franz Schubert composed the music for F. von Schober's poem, An die Musik (To Music). Valerie Stephenson has created a flexible setting for this lovely composition. The handbells provide the accompaniment for the solo, which may also be vocal or instrumental. The vocal/C Instrument(oboe or violin suggested), Bb Instrument and Viola solo parts are in a separate solo publication. Arranger's notes on options for performance are included in the handbell score. This 43-measure piece is set in D Major.
