Review:
This is Rett Richards' first published handbell piece. He is a former elementary music teacher and now works as a music editor for GIA. Rett crafted this Japanese children’s song, Aka Tombo (Red Dragonfly) for developing ringers using ostinatos as a harmonic and rhythmic structural base while still painting a specific cultural sound. The edition includes teaching notes and unison exercises. 52 measures. Key of F Major.
