Review:
Jason Krug has crafted a wonderfully mysterious yet powerful arrangement of the Lenten hymn "When Jesus Wept". His treatment of the melody and harmonies fully supports the hymn text 'When Jesus wept, the falling tear in mercy flowed beyond all bound; when Jesus groaned, a trembling fear seized all the guilty world around.' The final section is aptly marked
Triumphantly, but then gradually transitions to a soft, prayerful conclusion. For 3 to 6 octaves of handbells with optional 3 to 6 octaves of handchimes, Level 2+
