Performer: Agape Ringers
Review: Impassioned for performance and zealous to educate others about their medium, the Agape Ringers share their love of handbell artistry as both a privilege and a joy. This Chicago-based, auditioned community handbell ensemble was formed in 1992 by David Weck, and since then has been privileged to share its joy of ringing with concert audiences everywhere. The group's members have served as workshop educators at many handbell events across the country, and church musicians throughout the ringing world have enjoyed their artistry on promotional recordings released by Hope Publishing Company, and their own CD recordings.
