To God Be the Glory
3-5 octaves of optional chimes add ambiance to the middle section of this setting of William Doane's hymn. The first and last sections are written in 3/4 time with a feel of 6/8. Syncopations, open spaced structure, and running eighth-note patterns characterize the majority of the piece. The last two measures incorporate ring touch, mallet, and martellato techniques. 112 measures in length.
