Sussex Carol
Jason Krug artfully crafted this traditional English carol with playful syncopation creating a sense of anticipation and joy. The “B” section introduces Coventry Carol with handchimes in a somber manner in contrast to the bubbly, mirthful Sussex Carol. This is an excellent choice for any Advent/Christmas Sunday and for holiday concerts. 147 measures. Begins in C Major, modulates to D Major, then D minor, back to D Major and ends in Eb Major.
