"Bells Still Are Chiming and Calling" is a handbell duet arrangement of the hymn tunes KIRKEN DEN ER ET GAMMELT HUS, often associated with the hymn text "Built on the Rock", and MAGDALEN, often associated with the hymn text "My Hope is Built on Nothing Less". The duet is written for 3 octaves of handbells with an optional D7.
This arrangement is dedicated to the faithful saints of churches throughout the world, particularly Historic Trinity Lutheran Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Notre Dame de Paris who continue the Lord's work even in the midst of damage and loss to their physical buildings.
