Hymn Introductions for Festival Days
Brian has added another installment to his Hymn Introductions series with these 5 introductions for hymns used on Festival Days. Each introduction is designed to be rung by 3 – 6 players using bell trees (or tables), but they also work as processionals. The option is included to either lead into the hymn (ending on the dominant) or end the introduction on the tonic chord. With no page turns, each introduction can be easily memorized and may be shortened or lengthened as desired, or even adapted to accompany the hymns. This collection will be a nice addition to your group’s repertoire.
