Waltz of the Flowers
This familiar and delightful waltz from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite has been nicely arranged for handbells and optional flute or C-instrument. Although the added instrument will be lovely icing on this musical cake, it plays well using just bells.
Written in F-major, it is mostly Rung with nicely-placed marts, thumb damps, and shakes, which accentuate the phrasings. Effective placement of dynamics emphasizes the graceful movement of this wonderful work. It is accessible by moderately-accomplished groups and will be a lovely addition to your holiday concerts and more!
