Festal Fanfare on Darwall's 148th
This traditional tune for "Rejoice, the Lord Is King" is set for 3, 4 or 5 octaves. In the introduction and throughout the piece bell-tower sounds can be heard. A full statement of the tune is given with lots of bass bell activity. The B section slows, still giving the melody to the lower registers. The tempo speeds up once more and builds to a resounding ending with a "fff" shake and a special salute ending.
