Watt's Cradle Song
Isaac Watts' text, "Hush! my dear, lie still and slumber; Holy angels guard thy bed..." has been set for SATB choir and 3 octaves of Handbells or optional keyboard. The accompaniment is mostly chordal with no eighth-note rhythms. Experimenting with choir chimes and bells might lend additional warmth to the work.
