Mastering Rhythmic Understanding
Dr. Johnson describes this instruction manual as "A method designed to help ringers understand the language of rhythmic notation and to apply this understanding in musical performance." The director's manual includes suggestions for using the exercise as well as detailed instructions for teaching the concepts found within. Ideally the exercise can be used at weekly rehearsals. The ringer's edition contains all the exercises. Permission is given in the director's manual for copying exercises for limited use with your choir only.
