Eastertime Psalm
Sub-titled "Psalm for Easter, Ascension and Pentecost," the instrumentation of this original work calls for cantor, congregation, optional SATB voice, and optional trumpets and 2 octaves (plus A6) of handbells. Psalms 118, 47 and 104 provide the text for the upbeat, triumphant music. The bells are scored on a separate part and are written entirely on the treble staff and ring on every verse. This work was commissioned for the 25th anniversary Liturgy of the Ascension Parish Community in Pittsburgh, PA. Instrument parts contain 5 handbell scores and parts for 2 trumpets in C or B-flat.
