Shenandoah, the American folk song named after an Indian Chief, is here arranged for solo handbells accompanied by a choir of bells. The solo requires 2 octaves of bells plus a Bb3 and the bell choirs requires 5 octaves plus a low Bb2. The texture is flowing with lots of eighth-note accompaniment.
