Fruit of the Spirit
Your singers will learn all about the “Fruit of the Spirit,” as listed in Galations 5:22-23: “Spirit fruit is what we need, fill your basket full!” Options for brand-new ringers through competent Level 1 ringers involve all of your groups in one presentation. Children may accompany themselves ringing chords either cued by the director, from chord charts or from a lead sheet, and a full 1-5 oct. handbell or chime ensemble can provide accompaniment using the L1 Handbell Score. Guitar chords and a full piano accompaniment are also included. Recorder or any C instrument may play a simple 4-bar melody for the introduction and coda. All of these options may be mixed and matched as desired, and full instructions are included. Composer/author Kathleen Wissinger, known for her clever lyrics and catchy melodies, created this simple true-to-scripture piece with just enough variation to keep it interesting and easy to learn.
