This lively tune from Act 2, Scene 1 of Verdi’s opera Aïda has been arranged for handbells. It features bells malleted on the table (or other stopped technique) intermittently interspersed with rung notes throughout. It moves along at a fast pace that can be adapted for your group’s ability. There are many instances of grace notes which may provide a bit of a challenge at tempo. It ends with a dramatic TLD!
