“12 Bells + a Solo” showcases an easy 8-Bell melody line (Belltree solo or 1-4 Ringers) and challenges 3-6 ringers on a thoughtful L3 12-bell accompaniment at the same time! The featured tune, “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot,” will engage your audience with swing and triplet rhythms at an easy pace. You’ll be amazed how rich and full 12-bells can be as an accompaniment! Offered in 2 ranges for flexibility, both for your 12-bell ringers (F5-C7 in Bb Major, or C5-G6 in Eb Major) as well as your soloist (B5-C7 or F5-G6, respectively). A great option when you have an extra ringer or two - or an interest in solo ringing. Ideal as a church prelude or meditative moment or a concert interlude to demo 4iH or smaller ensemble ringing. Ideal for 4 to 7 ringers. Note: Two bell sets are needed (as many notes are shared by both parts!) unless one of the parts is played on chimes. 4-10 ringers. 40 measures. Performance time 1:50-2:50 with optional repeat. Reproducible
