Lo How a Rose E'er Blooming
The handbells are given the directions to "ring freely and rather sparsely" in a semi-structured random ring. Performance suggestions give a variety of choral and instrumental set-ups. Congregational participation is encouraged. Orchestra parts are: 2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets, 2 bassoons, contrabassoon (or bass clarinet), 2 French horns, 2 trumpets, 2 trombones, harp, piano/synthesizer, bell tree, various percussion and strings.
