Allegro and Hornpipe
The "Allegro" and the "Hornpipe" from George Frideric Handel's beloved "Water Music Suite" are versatility set for 5 octaves of bells and keyboard or keyboard-percussion quartet or small orchestra. Your ringers will enjoy the full scoring and big sound that this ensemble may achieve. Preparation time should be minimal for level III choirs. (The orchestra consists of 2 Violins, Viola, Cello, 2 Oboes, and Bassoon. Clarinets 1 and 2 and Bass Clarinet may be substituted for the double reeds.) Handbell score has periods of rests in it. Both arrangements are set in D Major.
