Set the Sun Dancing
Commissioned in celebration of Choristers Guild's 50th Anniversary and set for unison voices, keyboard and handbells from Bb4 through C7 (optional D7). The original text begins: "Set the sun dancing! New life has begun! Allusions to moving on with life because of the light of Christ in us is found throughout the text". The bells add a highlight of joy and are simple rhythms with occasional sixteenth notes.
