Taken in part from American Folk Hymns for Piano by Anna Laura Page, this setting of the hymn tune PISGAH (from Kentucky Harmony) for 3 to 5-octaves of bells and optional 3-octaves of handchimes is dedicated to another handbell composer/arranger, Mary Kay Parrish. Numerous articulations chalk up to fun ringing for advanced bell ringers. The sections contrast between dancing textures and a slow section, which includes the echo technique, chimes and lilting triplet rhythms. Seventy-six measures in length.
