"I am Minister of Music at First Baptist Church, Fayetteville, Arkansas where I have served since 1993. I received a Bachelor of Music with Clarinet concentration from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas in 1974. I received a Masters of Church Music in 1981 and a Masters of Music in
Composition in 1984 from Southwestern Baptist
Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas.
I have written for a wide spectrum of music for bells
over the years, both for my church bell choirs and
commissioned pieces as well. Some of these have been
published in our denominational periodicals. I
particularly enjoy the challenge of writing for
beginning choirs, striving to create playable pieces
that are interesting enough to aid in worship.
My wife, Pam and I have three sons -- Justin, Tim, and
Drew."
