Dr. Paul E. Rosene has extensive experience teaching handbell directors. He leads many workshops and is a guest conductor throughout the United States. He has written three method books about handchimes and is considered an authority in the teaching of chimes. A
retired university professor from Illinois State
University, Dr. Rosene founded the ISU
Handbell/Choirchime Ensembles in the late 60's. AGEHR,
Inc. has listed his program as "exemplary". He and
his wife Doris, also a retired music educator, now
live in Florida; and they travel extensively
throughout the South to help handbell and choirchime
directors in both church and school settings. He is a
graduate of the University of Illinois, where he
received his Doctorate in Music Education.
