Earth and All Stars

Review:      The hymn tune DEXTER is the basis of this arrangement for handbell trio. Three separate staves delineate the parts, and the manuscript is easy to read. Mallets and some eighth-note ostinato rhythms keep up the interest in this otherwise easy piece for beginning ensemble ringers. Measures total 78 with repeats. This handbell setting is based on Michael Burkhardt's setting in "Praise and Thanksgiving, Set 2" from Morningstar Music Publishers. This piece is not all-inclusive; so unless ringers intend to share copies, they may need to get one for each ringer.
