Review:
Both the rhythmic and metrical versions of the tune EIN FESTE BURG are utilized in this fast, lively, and very unique arrangement. Repeated patterns in the upper treble bells accompany the rhythmic version of the tune in the middle and lower range bells. The piece then switches to a fun, malleted bass line that accompanies the melody in the upper bells. The LV pattern returns in the upper bells, while the middle and lower bells present the metrical version of the tune with large, full chords. In the treble, the malleted bass line and rhythmic melody take the arrangement to a surprising close. Techniques included are mallets, thumb damp, and LV.
