Running eighth-note passages dominate this piece for 3 octaves only. The tune name is
"Dix", but the tune may be more well recognized as the hymn tune for
"As with Gladness Men of Old". Marked moderately, the hymn tune is followed loosely and is very ornate. Director and ringers alike must be extra cautious of the key changes, bouncing back and forth between C Major and E Major. Measures total 60.
