"I eat the bread that you have broken. I drink the wine that you have poured for me." So begins the text of the vocal solo that is accompanied by handbells in this setting of the Gene Grier original. The bell part is predominantly chordal, with some challenging 16th note rhythms and chromaticism. This is a reflective work for any communion event.
