Review:
Cynthia Dobrinski's dazzling rendition of this beloved hymn is written in the key of F, which provides a lot of activity for the high B6/C7 position. Bass players will enjoy the running malleted section and the long crescendoing malleted roll that simulates the excitement of the timpani. Various staccato techniques and shakes are introduced for variation and a short development leads to a rousing final verse. Measures total 109.
