Review:
This familiar piece has no more than quarter notes but offers some unique challenges. With its dynamic changes, shading and shaping the musical line, ringers can work to develop expressive and musical ringing. Techniques include malleting or plucking, shakes and swings. It is great for young choirs as well as more advanced choirs needing music they can learn quickly. Published in two compatible editions, the piece is ideal for festivals. An edition for 3, 4 or 5 octaves is also available. (CGB397) Measures total 91.
