Review:
Snare drum, finger cymbal (or triangle), and tambourine are optional in this setting of the traditional Catalonian carol; but do you really want to miss out on the fun they add? The music is very accessible with a handfull of chromatics to add challenge. Staccato articulations are sprinkled throughout the texture to add flavor. A separate score for percussion is included in the back of the handbell folio. Measures total 83.
