Review:
Based on Psalm 42, this hymn from the Genevan Psalter of 1551 moves through varying textures. The opening is dotted with grace notes followed by a staccato passage. The tempo slows at a key change and employs mellow accompaniment figures (LV technique). Then the tempo moves back to the original and ends with a fully rung section and a fff final chord. Measures total 75.
