Review:
The repeating pattern (passacaglia) of this original composition is set in C minor with B natural from the harmonic minor scale and B flat from the descending melodic minor scale. On top of this, all manner of accompaniment takes place from chordal, to running eighth notes, to echo technique and staccato effects. Both 3-5 octaves of bells and chimes are required. Measures total 145. It is written in honor of a loved handbell director.
