Review:
Ludwig van Beethoven's movement from Symphony No. 7 is set here for handbells using various special effects to communicate the original symphony. Mallets on tabled bells, martellato, plucking, thumb damp, and shakes all appear to enrich the texture. Chromatic bell changes add challenge to the 124 measures. It is scored in a minor.
