The solemn splendor of that first Easter morning is masterfully recreated by Fred Gramann in this updated edition of his classic offering of the season. Handbells are featured alone, as well as together with the dynamic organ part. The piece is based on the tunes
"Victory, Hanover" and
"Easter Hymn." This is a work that should be considered a basic library addition. "Alleluia the Srife is O'er" is 119 measures in C Major.
