Review:
The two carols in this 3-octave setting can be played individually or as a short medley without a transition between the carols. Both carols are suitable for bells but are also lovely on chimes. "Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence" (c minor) features the melody in the bottom 2 octaves. The two easy bell changes for B6 make it level 1+. "Away In a Manger" (F Major), an unadorned setting of the Mueller tune, has the melody in the upper octave over easy chords. Classified as level 2 due to dotted quarter and eighth note rhythms, this familiar carol should be easy for level 1 ringers who know the melody and words.
