Review:
This engaging original composition was commissioned in honor of Fred Gramann, for his 30 years of music ministry at the American Church in Paris. The piece opens with a rhythmic "fuguing tune" in a minor key, which appears in a variety of ways throughout the work. The sections are labeled "Lightly," "Slowly, with feeling," then concluding with a joyful "Allegretto," with a rhythmic malleted bass part. Techniques include LV, malleted bells on the table and shaking. Written in c minor, F Major, and C Major, measures total 96.
