Praise His Name in the Dance

Review:      This original composition is an exhortation to "move with the beat." Mr. Hakes accomplishes this through alternating compound and simple meter, a jubilant tempo, and "body" percussion - stomps and claps- and mallet clicks. Two optional 6th octave bells - Bb2 and F8 - are included in this worthy selection for concert or advanced festival reportoire. Written in F Major, measures total 86.
