Review:
"epilogue" was commissioned for the 2007 Week of Handbells at Bay View, Michigan by the Allured Composition Award Committee. The piece is an original composition by Dr. Don Allured which closes with "God Be With You Till We Meet Again." The opening is a fanfare-style section whose theme recurs several times during the piece. The contrasting middle section is quiet and meditative. The inclusion of the bass bells creates a stunning effect. "epilogue" is 98 measures and is composed in the keys of C Major and D Major.
