Review:
The well-known Shaker hymn is arranged for double handbell and handchime choir, with the chime part being much easier than the bell part. The first section is gentle and relaxed, and then the hymn takes on a lively, dancing "jig" character, with malleted rhythmic bass bells and a bouncy, lilting melody. The handbell part can stand alone, and the handchime part may be played by a keyboard instrument if desired. Set in C Major and F Major, measures total 132.
