Review:
A delightful staccato accompaniment pattern characterizes this lively setting of the familiar carol, first in the mid-range and then in the treble bells. The melody is then embellished and presented as a canon before the staccato pattern comes back to end the piece. The staccato notes may be either malleted or thumb-damped. This rendition of the familiar Christmas carol is arranged in c minor and is 74 measures.
