Review:
This piece is a swinging arrangement of the gospel standard by pianist and jazz and gospel composer Thomas Andrew Dorsey. Because the clarinet part is not optional, the handbell part is free to provide some fun accompaniment to the swinging clarinet melody as well as ring a verse or two of the tune themselves. At home in both worship and concert, the rendition is set in Eb Major and is 75 measures.
