Review:
This arrangement includes a joyous rendition of
"Standing In the Need of Prayer" and a bridge, followed by the
Finlandia Theme by Sibelius (used in
"Be Still My Soul" and several other hymns). They make a joyous and powerful combination. Mallets are required in the bass bells. The piece is powerful and fun, and has great appeal. The director should feel free to do what is necessary with the music, as long as the music remains intact. This arrangement, set in Bb Major, is 64 measures.
