Review:
"Grandioso" is an original work for handbell quintet that lives up to its name! Marked "bold and celebratory", the piece begins with an ostinato bass rhythm played by a single ringer and builds in intensity as additional rhythms and notes are added by the other ringers. A worthy and musical challenge for a small ensemble or even a three octave choir, this 114-measure quintet is written in C Major.
