Review:
This medley begins with "Jesus Loves Me", and is followed by a series of variations and a key change. The variations include add-on chords and jazz harmonies in some of the variations. The melody is doubled, so that the nontraditional chords do not bury it. There is a transition into "O How He Loves You and Me." This section features more lush chords, more development than variations, and a worshipful mood. This piece is suitable for any Sunday, or especially a Youth Sunday. Listeners will appreciate the texture and moods produced by the harmonies and the unusual setting for handbells. Scored in Eb, Bb and F Majors, this medley is 85 measures.
