Review:
"O Sacred Head Now Wounded" with "Holy, Holy, Holy" is a partner song for handbells. This anthem is up-beat, joyous, and just keeps marching right along. At one point, it turns into a canon between the two different melodies. Technical aspects of the ringing are minimal. Anything the director wants to do to make the music more accessible is a allowed. Let these mighty anthems written about very serious subjects bring joy to your Lenten and Easter seasons. Set in a minor and C Major, this piece is 53 measures.
