Review:
This early-American tune is given an ethereal, mystical treatment with the addition of optional, yet effective percussion instruments. Appropriate for Advent worship or concerts, this short arrangement employs flowing, linear passages, as well as more chordal sections and much dynamic contrast. It uses no special techniques other than LV, and the two editions are compatible for massed ringing. It is 41 measures in length and is scored in b minor.
