Review:
This lively arrangement of the familiar carol is entirely malleted with the exception of two shakes (C6 and C7). It includes teaching elements for chromatics on the table that are more easily learned than with straight ringing. The opening boogie-style bass line gets the piece off to a great start with lots of mallet rolls for sustained notes and some stick clicking for visual interest, if desired. This high-energy piece is sure to be a favorite! Scored in F Major,this setting is 45 measures.
