A great piece for invitation or commitment to service, “Softly and Tenderly” is skillfully arranged by Linda Lamb for any choir. Even though it is rated level two, it offers enough to be musically satisfying for all groups. Program this for church as an offertory, for dedications, for missionary services, or baptisms. Program this for festivals as a piece that teaches musicality and musical lines. All in all, "Softly and Tenderly" is a great piece for any choir. It is scored in F Major and is 76 measures.
