Review:
The exuberantly joyful opening fanfare, full of energy and ceremony, is followed by a more melodic, meditative segment before returning to the exciting opening tempo for the closing section. The entire composition is bursting with the contrasting textures of handbells, handchimes, WhiteChapel bells (if available) and trumpet. Appropriate for worship or concert, it is sure to inspire the listeners wherever it is performed. "Sempiternam" is 76 measures.
